Principal's Message

A Tradition of Excellence

Gorman
Greetings Parents and Families of Steubenville High School,

As Principal of Steubenville High School, I would like to welcome you to the Steubenville City Schools website. This website has been prepared in the hope that it will become a valuable resource for you and provide you with school news and information. This website has been developed to enable everyone to become familiar with our school, policies, and other procedures.
Here at Steubenville High School, our staff set high academic standards for our students. Our staff works diligently to ensure each child is working to his or her maximum ability. Steubenville High School, the Steubenville City School District and our Steubenville community have a common goal to do what is best all students.

Our goal is to create a warm, welcoming, clean and safe, learning environment that students are eager to come to every day.  Your high school years provide you with the wonderful opportunity to discover your unique talents and gifts. One way to learn is through the variety of clubs, organizations and teams that exist at Steubenville High School. There are outstanding athletic teams, musical programs, clubs, drama and academic groups that will help you to learn more about yourself and to develop friendships that may last a lifetime.

Take a chance by getting involved and trying something new. High school is unlike any other time in your life. Study hard, challenge yourself, set high goals and enjoy yourself. We are very fortunate to have a great school with great students and teachers. Make this time some of the most important and productive years of your life.

Our staff who work here will offer you help along the journey. Please ask for our assistance. We want to be a part of your success. Along with the faculty and staff, I wish you an exciting and successful year.

I will continue to send out reminders in the monthly school newsletter throughout the school year. Please remember that my staff and I are here to serve our families and students. I am always available and I look forward to building a strong relationship with you and your child. Please know we, at Steubenville High School, are here to help your child(ren) have the best school year possible.
Everyone here at Steubenville High School is very thankful for the opportunity to educate your child(ren). It is truly an honor that we take very seriously.

Thank you for your constant support, and as always...GO BIG RED!
